Candid CultureSations: Ep. 1- I Am A Cousin

In light of James' birthday, Kyla is out this week celebrating. Justice brings in some young Black people, for Black conversations about Black things. We finally hear the voice of Homegirl Toya and meet Best Friend O, along with the rest of the tribe. And they question if Justice is using them for a school project. Could be, could be not.

What exactly is a professional? Do safe spaces exist for Black folks? Is Kansas City lacking culture? Tune in to see what the tribe has to say.

#11 We...Tellin

Hey Hey! This week the ladies of the ExtraRegular. stepped away from the usual and dedicated the entire episode to answering questions from the lovely listeners. They wanted to tear down the walls a bit and answer questions about themselves to allow listeners to get to know them better.

You'll learn about Justice's height requirements, Kyla's definition of love and why you should never...EVER EVER EVER do anything that may possibly could perhaps (yep alladat) send you to jail in front of the ladies. They also share a fun drunken night with you and plan the next...there is more to them than drunken nights-promise.

Hope you all enjoy this Q&A as much as they did. Please feel free to send in any questions you have, they will be sure to get answered.

#10 Celibacy is Easy Peasy...UNTIL

This week the ladies of The Extra Regular podcast discuss the oh so daunting topic of temptations... dun dun DUN! The ladies discuss some of the temptations they combat on the daily,(because sometimes you gotta get violent with these temptations) ways they decrease the attention spent on temptations and values and their correlation with, you guessed it...TEMPTATIONS.

Justice shares how she fights daily with one temptation in particular, she loves oatmeal cookies but you will not be getting her cookies! Kyla shares a lesson she learned first hand that helps her ignore those shady desires.

BHM: The Extra Regular podcast is recorded in Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City is enriched in African American culture from the music on down to the BBQ. Kansas City is home to one of the few and the longest running black owned and operated grocery stores in America.

You out here: The ladies would be remiss if they didn't discuss Black Panther and the ceilings it shattered in just 2 days on the big screens (recordings take place on Saturday). Justice saw the movie after the recording so don't fret, there are **NO SPOILERS ** but this will be said, #WakandaForever .

Kyla got recognized in Biggie's Big Poppa song and she shares a value of hers that matches her reaction to the angelical voice of Whitney Houston.

You Out Here: This week the ladies shoutout Kyla's husband who achieved of of his career goals by officially becoming a licensed real estate agent. He has tackled this new, long desired dream while maintaining his overly demanding FT job, working a PT job, and satisfying his husband duties--he is out here! If you are in the market for a new home in the Missouri or Kansas area, send us and email and we will get you his information :)
